An interesting survey carried out by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in Scotland has found that 81% of the people who had replied believe an increase in interest in properties with gardens or balconies will take place over the next two years and that 74% believe that homes located near green spaces will also become more popular.
Conversely 78% of the people surveyed said that there would be a fall in the appeal of tower blocks and 58% said that properties located in highly urban areas would be less attractive.
Hopefully this research will be of interest to buyers and sellers, particularly in view of the highly anticipated re-opening of the housing market, potentially this week.
